First Annual “I Love Leftovers” Design Cook-Off Contest

Cook up some delicious logos using our “Leftover” artwork!

Create a cool logo using one or more of the vector illustrations pictured below. The highest scored design will receive a $50 iTunes card. Entry deadline is June 30th and voting ends July 15, 2009.

All entries will be available for purchase on Graphic Leftovers. So if you don’t win the iTunes card, you can still win by earning commissions from each purchased download.

How to Enter:

  1. Login and select “upload”
  2. Upload a 500 x 500 pixel thumbnail
  3. Upload a zip file of your original art file
  4. Title your artwork
  5. Give a brief description
  6. Select the “Leftovers Contest” Category
  7. Provide all the file information” tags, file type, etc.
  8. Select your selling price

Contest Rules:

  1. When creating your logo, do not use a trademarked company names such as Coke or Apple. Create a ficticious name…be creative.
  2. “Leftover” artwork can be altered and modified any way you like. Select your own colors, make it 3 dimensional, or enhance it.
  3. Artwork must be submitted in vector format. (illustrator, Corel, etc.)
  4. We will not accept artwork that contains vulgar language, racism, or nudity.
  5. Winner will be notified by email and the itunes card will be sent directly from Apple.com to the winner by mail.
  6. Winner will be featured in the August Member Newsletter.
  7. Contest is open to all designers worldwide.

Looks like a fun competition. A logo without a client. I like it! I’ll have a go. I look forward to seeing the entries.
