Earning Questions
I earn 52% of each sale. Does that include licenses?
Yes. If you agree to sell your artwork with additional licenses, then you will receive 52% of that license sale price.
I have earned enough money to get a payout. What do I do now?
Congratulations! Go to your "My Account" page and click on the "Request Payout" button in your "My Account" page. Payouts are made via Moneybookers, PayPal or by check. Payouts are processed within 48 hours.
I changed the price of one of my images. Will that reflect in my earnings?
Yes, If you were selling an item for $3 and changed the price to $5, any downloads that occur with the new price will display in your account transactions with the higher earnings. It does not change your earnings of any downloads prior to the price change.
License Questions
Do I have to offer a Merchandise or Ultimate license?
No. It is up to you. We offer these licenses on all images, but if you would like to exclude some or all of your images from this license, select "None" in the license drop down menu in the edit mode of your portfolio.
If I offer a free image. What can buyers use it for?
All free images follow the standard license agreement and do not have an extended license option.
File Uploading
What are the file requirements?
Visit our file preparation section on how to prepare your files for uploading.
Is there a limit to how many files I can upload?
No. You can upload 1 file or 1,000. You can upload multiple images using our Flash uploader or you can request an FTP account. Please note that you must have the current Flash plugin and Javascript enabled to utilize this uploading tool.
I uploaded my images but they are not in my account. Where are they?
Uploaded images do not go directly into your account. We batch import all submitted images several times a day so please check your account for availability. If you upload images during non-business hours (9:00 am - 6:00 pm CST), your images will be imported the next business day.
I need to delete an image. How do I do that?
We are adding this functionality very soon. In the meantime, you can type "delete this file" in the title section of the image and submit. We will delete the file for you.
What is the "No Matching JPEG" image in my account?
If you see a "No Matching JPEG" graphic in your unfinished area, it means that your JPEG and EPS files where named differently. Your JPEG and EPS files must be named the same, for example: dog.eps and dog.jpeg. If you receive this image, please reupload a new JPEG named correctly for each missing file.
My file was rejected. Where do I see the comments?
Click on the image and you will see at the top of the page all rejection comments in red.
How long does it take for my images to get approved?
Within 48 hours. We approve images in the order they are submitted.
I got an email saying some of my files needed attention. Where do I go to see them?
If your file was sent back for any reason, it will be returned to the "Unfinished" section in your account. Click on each item to read comments and make edits.
Why do you offer an EPS and JPEG version for vector files?
We know that not everyone has the ability to edit a vector EPS file, so we offer a high-resolution JPEG image as an alternative file format. Offering the two file formats will help increase your sales.
Why are all my images priced at $5?
Images priced at $5 are the most downloaded and most popular price point on Graphic Leftovers. We want you to achieve the highest amount of sales so we default to that price when you upload images. If there are items you feel are worth more or less, then you can edit the price for each item.
