Purchasing Questions
The image I want to buy is $5 but the minimum deposit is $10.
What happens to the rest of my money?

The remaining $5 is placed into your account for future purchases. Your deposits do not expire, so you can come back at any time.

I am new to your site. How do I buy an image?
Once you find an image you like, click on the “Download Button”. Select the type of license that best fits your needs and then make a deposit using your credit card, PayPal account or Google CheckOut. Once the transaction is approved, you may download instantly. Any remaining balance from your purchase is placed into your account.

I am already a member, how do I add money to my account?
You can add funds to your account by clicking the "Make a Deposit" tab. Here you can select a dollar amount to deposit using your credit card, PayPal account or Google Checkout. Once the transaction is approved, your funds are immediately available to purchase images.

I am having trouble using my credit card to purchase. Are there other options?
Yes, sometimes credit cards get rejected because of a merchant processing error. If this occurs, you can use your credit card to purchase through PayPal or Google Checkout.

If I download an image and decide not to use it, can I get a refund?
Sorry, once you download an image, we cannot provide a refund.

License Questions
Can I use any of the images as my company logo?
No, you cannot use images as part of a trade-mark, design-mark, trade-name, business name, service mark, or logo.

My image came with a standard license, what can I use it for?
The Standard License allows you to use the image for personal, business or client projects, such as brochures, presentations, ads, folders, websites, blogs, and other projects that are used to promote you or a client’s business. A maximum of 10,000 copies incorporating the image may be made. Read more >

What is a Merchandise license?
A Merchandise License allows you to use an image in merchandise for resale or distribution, such as clothing, greeting cards, magnets, calendars, web templates, games and wallpapers. A maximum of 10,000 copies incorporating the image may be made. Read more >

What is an Ultimate license?
An Ultimate License grants you both the Standard and Merchandise Licenses outlined above and allows an unlimited number of copies incorporating the image may be made. Read more >

I downloaded a free image. What can I use it for?
You can use free images for business and personal use. All free images follow the Standard License agreement and does not have an extended license option.

File Format Questions
What is a vector EPS file?
Vector files are the preferred file choice of most designers. Not only can you change colors or move objects, you can size the image from as small as a business card to as large as a poster without losing image quality. To edit a vector EPS file you need to have editing software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw or other vector programs.

What is a JPEG file?
JPEG files are the most common photography format. To edit this file you will need to have photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop. This type of image cannot be sized larger than the original file size or it will lose image quality and become blurry or rasterized.

What is a PSD file?
PSD files are Photoshop layered files. Each layer can be modified or edited to your liking. To edit this file you will need to have photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop.

Will the image I download have the Graphic Leftovers watermark?
No. Your purchased image will not have a watermark.

The file downloaded but I cannot open it. What should I do?
If you purchase an image and cannot open the file in one of your programs or the file is corrupt, please email us or use the live chat feature. We will either resend you the image or save it in a format that is compatible with your software program.

Where did my download go?
Every browser handles downloading differently. Internet Explorer lets you choose where to save a file or it will default to the last place you saved a file. Firefox saves files to your desktop unless set otherwise in the preferences. Safari will generally send images to your downloads folder or your desktop. This can also be set in the preferences.

Account Questions
Where can I see my purchase history?
Go to the "My Account” tab and you will see all your deposits and purchases. For each transaction you will receive an email receipt to keep for your records.

I forgot my password and cannot login. What do I do?
On the login page click on the "Forgot your Password?" link and enter your username or email address. A temporary
password will be sent to you. Login again with your username and the temporary password. Once accepted you can go to your account and select “Change Password” to reset your new password.

Do I have to use my deposited money before a certain date?
No, your account deposits never expire and there is no deadline to purchase. So you can come back at any time and your funds will always be available.

Referral Program Questions
I have referred both buyers and sellers to Graphic Leftovers, where do I see that?
Go to the "My Account” tab and you will see at the top of your page your current referral earnings. Also in your transaction history area, you will see specific transactions and earnings by date. Remember, your referrals need to have cookies enabled for us to be able to track them.

What can I do with my referral earnings?
You can use your earnings to purchase images on Graphic Leftovers or you can request a payout once you have received $50 in earnings. Payouts are made via PayPal, Moneybookers or by check.

How do I request a payout?
On your account page, click on the "Request Payout" link on your "My Account" page. Payouts are made within 48 hours.
